For the third year, the EECU Community Foundation is collecting new, warm clothes for DFW students in need. After collecting more than 2,000 items in last year’s drive, the EECU Community Foundation is asking DFW residents to help give the gift of warmth this winter.
“We believe in giving back and playing an active role in our community,” said EECU Community Foundation Board Member Lonnie Nicholson. “Together, we can ensure that these students have access to warm clothes this winter season.”
Through January 17, DFW residents can drop off new winter clothing items at any of the 19 EECU Financial Centers. Visit
eecu.org/locations to find the nearest Financial Center and view operating hours.
Suggested items include Hats, Gloves, Coats, Blankets, Jeans, Socks, Shoes, White/Blue Polos, Undershirts, and Underwear. All girls/boys and teen sizes are needed for socks, underwear, and undershirts. Clothing sizes needed are 5T - 6X, Adult S, and Adult M.
