EECU Makes & Delivers Over 4,000 Sandwiches

To celebrate National Volunteer Week, EECU hosted an all Employee Volunteer Event. EECU employees at all fourteen Financial Centers and Operations Centers participated in a volunteer event to make fresh sandwiches to serve our neighbors in need. In one day, EECU employees made more than 4,000 sandwiches and delivered them to four different non-profits including Mission Arlington, Six Stones in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area, Fort Worth Night Shelter and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tarrant County.

The city of Arlington was so appreciative of our outreach they featured EECU on their city’s TV station and included EECU in their mayor’s kindness campaign. The Hillwood Alliance team also featured EECU in their “Doing Good” communications series.
